Thomas Windley and Frances Mott married sometime before 1791.
Some trees have that they married in 1790 in Essex.
Their children I have found so far are:
    Anne 1791
Frances 24 Jul 1796, Good Easter, Essex
William 21 April 1799. Good Easter, Essex. Convicted and transported to NSW on the General Stewart in 1818.
John, 18 Oct 1801, Good Easter, Essex. Convicted and transported to NSW on the Coromandel 2 in 1819.
Martha 11 Sept 1803 Good Easter, Essex.
Henry 11 May 1806 Good Easter.
Thomas Windley is said to have died in 1806.
Wondering if some nice person would be able to find a marriage for Thomas and Frances, probably in Essex.
Also if possible their births, please.
And YES! I have just found 2 more convicts in the tree. (William Windley's son married my maternal grandfather's aunt )
    Thank you. :)

I have found this, it's a transcription so couldn't sight the original:

    Thomas Windley
    Married 5 Dec 1790
    High Easter, Essex, England
    Frances Mott

    EDIT:
"The Essex Record Office 'ERO' is an excellent starting point for research. The ERO has an online catalogue by the name of Essex Archives Online which includes parish records.

    Oh dear! Sorry Sis. :(
It looks like this family has been researched to death now that other things have come to light.
Seems John may have died in 1824 (not sure yet) which is why William must have taken his identity when he was sent to Norfolk Island for again absconding from Port Macquarie after he had absconded from Sydney. I have just printed off 6 pages about young William Windley. What a character. I think he straightened up in the end. At least I hope he did. He married the daughter of John Nicholls, a first fleeter from the ship Scarborough, whose land grant is almost under my feet. :) His son William married my great grandfathers older half sister.
