One of my ancestors is Hugh KENNEDY of Dull. I descend from him as follows:
Hugh KENNEDY (m. Mary FERGUSON 1751)
    Peter/Patrick KENNEDY (bapt. 1756; m. Catharine McDONALD 1779)
David KENNEDY (bapt. 1781; m. Elizabeth RUTHERFORD 1804)
David KENNEDY (bapt. 1809; m. Ann CAMPBELL 1828)

David KENNEDY and Ann CAMPBELL (my 2x great grandparents) subsequently lived in Allanton in the parish of Cambusnethan, LKS, though after David's death in 1875, Ann went to live with her daughter in Muthill, PER, where she died in 1885.

There are a number of KENNEDY families in and around Dull, and it's quite hard to distinguish them. The places within the parish that I've found mine include Farleyer, Balnabruch, Tominteold, Lick and Ardrenich (most of these spellings vary), and DNA testing has suggested a link to others in Foss.

If anyone can connect to these, or shed light on the wider structure of the Kennedy family in that area, I'd be very interested to hear.
