    There's an interesting article on old wills in the latest blog from the Essex Records Office, the first of several images shows a section of a will containing a really intricate and decorative initial I.

    what an interesting blog.........mind you reading the extracts from Kate Luards unknown warriors had me in tears...........what those poor chaps suffered for us.

    Yes Sandiep I found the whole blog very interesting and the info in Kate's unknown warriors was a real shocker.
