I have my uncles will [he died WWII]. The will was passed down to me by my Mum. It doesn't include much information at all.
I thought it unusual when I came across a relatives will as part of his military documents on Ancestry. Its the only one I've found in these docs.
Just an update - It's entitled 'Form of will to be used by a soldier desirous of leaving legacies to some one or more persons, and the residue to another or others'. Includes signatures of three witnesses.
Nothing for my three great uncles. I'm particularly interested in my gt uncle Arthur G Theobald, he married in 1912 and died in 1914. I'd like to know who he named to inherit in his soldiers will, if he left one, his medals were claimed by his elder brother, I would have thought his wife would have them. Anyway, I'll keep trying from time to time.
