Does anyone have access to early images of the PR’s of Newton Ferrers Devon, I have a 1602 baptism of Margery Ley, father Andrew Ley and her burial in 1604 in the same parish, I’m trying to find if her parents were married there or not, or possibly if there’s any mention in the register at the time of her birth or death to do with her parents, mother’s name etc.

    Thanks.

    Hugh.

The baptism record just shows the father Andrew - no mother :(

Cannot see any marriage for Andrew.

Thanks Jan, I can't place this family of Leys from that location, I was hoping Andrew might have been married there to help identify them, only a few Leys show up there over the years but not enough to say Andrew and his daughter were actually from Newton Ferrers.
Andrew is a name that was used by my lot for many years.
    thanks.
    Hugh.
