There is, but in 1955, an Olwyn Davies and a John Pugh, Don Valley.
Percival J Wain in 1947 Doncaster but as she is found in 1955 as Davies, probably not.
Then rather a bit too late an Arthur Wilson in 1978 in Doncaster.

I'm finding ancestry very odd, searching Olwen and Olwyn and it came up with nothing. Thanks to you as soon as I entered Stanley as a spouse her record was at the top of the list showing the search terms I had entered. I wonder how many other searches I do are fruitless due to the same anomaly?

Given that she is not with the same couple (her parents?) in the 1956 Electoral Register of Hemsworth and I cannot find her as Olwen DAVIES in the 1956 Electoral Register in Yorkshire at all, I wonder if she did indeed marry John PUGH. However, I then cannot find an Olwen or John PUGH in the Electoral Registers - ah there is an Olwyn PUGH aged 65+ in the 2002 Electoral Register of Wakefield - full record available to view on FMP. Then I lose her again.
