I can only find the Post New Thread button on this part of the forum. I think my brain has gone and I've forgotten how I did it before. I'll keep trying

It's all right, I've done it under Ask the Experts. I can't find the button under General Queries

It should be directly under the 'search' box, after you've clicked the sub-forum heading? I think...

It's not there under General Family History Research and I've posted under the wrong heading I think now. I found it under Ask the Experts but looking again that should be for handwriting queries etc.

It's there for me. Go to General Family History Research, then select your subforum - General Family History Queries and it should then appear up on the top right?

Just beat me to it, Bay Horse.

Elsiesgirl, it's up to the top right just under the search box. BUT you have to click on the sub-section you want (e.g. Adoption pre-1915) before it appears.

    Good luck!!

(Just did a double-check - how many ways are there of saying the same thing, do you think? It's OK, I'll turn off the lights on my way out :) )

:D:D:D Yes it's there, I didn't scroll far enough down to General Family History Queries. Don't know why I forgot how to do it
