Although I have posted this message on the Thomas Henry Richards :Mawgan-in-Meneage to Illogan ,I thought that i would start another thread about this. Can any one help to find any entry of Thomas Henry 1860 travelling abroad? I have been searching but no luck yet.
Hi Genie, I found this newspaper article from the Cornwall OPC re "Cornish Emigrants to Australia" 1839 - 1913 Newspaper marriage notices for Cornish Emigrants (and later silver & golden weddings) http://www. cornwall-opc.org/Resc/emigration_australia.php From The Star Ballarat, Vic. Tuesday 8 December 1863 On 6th December, at the Wesleyan Parsonage, Barkly street, by the Rev. Joseph Albiston, Mr Edmund M. Gill to Miss Emily Candace, youngest daughter of Mr Thomas Richards, engineer, Ballarat East, both of Cornwall. Home papers please copy. It's a long shot but worth keeping on file. Regards. Hugh.
