Anyone recognise this fountain?

Our very own Cornish Maid
You're all so good at this that I thought I'd try solving another photo mystery.
A negative found amongst my mother's photos, with a "mystery" family - which I think is the family of my granma's sister (those Copleys again!), the one who moved to Canada.

This photo is with others showing the subjects on a big ship, perhaps Liverpool to Canada. But there's also one of Copenhagen's "Little Mermaid". So this could be 1920-1930, when they emigrated ... or 1940-1950, when someone from Canada came home to visit (and perhaps popped across to Denmark??).

Does this fountain ring a bell with anyone? Possibly Europe. But equally likely Nottinghamshire/Yorkshire/Liverpool/Hull.

Apologies for the quality - the negatives are fading. One advantage of the computer - once the picture is on, it stays on!

Hello Jane - it is the Gefion Fountain in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is on the harbour front. See here:

By the way - your negative has come out back to front. ;)

It looks very like the Geflon Fountain in Copenhagen.

The lady in the dark clothing on the right looks quite like my wife's grandmother, Hilda, who was from Nottingham (but born in Grantham)....
