The transcription says Robert Mickleborowe son of William Mickleborowe was baptised on XXV111 November 1585
I think is says Robt & Suzan Mickleborowe ye ?? of William
Am I right?

I agree that that's what it means, but I think it actually says "the children of"

That makes more sense of the word after ye - thank you

Except that on this occasion it isn't 'ye' (written with thorn character for 'th'), but 'the' with normal 't' and 'h'.

I have spent 2 days reading (well trying to) 1550-1650 PR's and eventually the eyes can work it out.

If only the transcriptions were close - looking for Mickleborough, with its many variations but some transcriptions are as way off as Thalebrown, or Thittlebown and whoever did the transcribing surely had gotten used to the handwriting and could have made a better stab at it, No wonder we can never find anyone from them.
It has made a nice change, to go through the registers page by page, though.
