Hello arryboy - welcome to Top Dog :)

I am a former "Hertfordshire Girl" and so know the county well. Please pop your location into your profile and then start posting any questions that you might have on the appropriate forum.

Don't forget to enjoy yourself along the way!

Lincolnshire is where I am searching at present, around both Bourne and Spilsby, plan to attend the LHFS meeting in Bourne on the 18th

Like the bike, still got it?

It is a 1936 Red Panther and belonged to my father - that is him in the photo.

And yes - it is still in the family though dismantled and in the back shed at my brothers.

Great Machine, I am now suffering withdrawal symptoms, just sold my "Fat Boy" Harley, now wonder if I did the right thing but really need a lighter bike, might consider an Older Classic bike like a Triumph or similar. Should have called myself "The Biker" or Fat Boy on the Fat Boy.

Had a few bikes over the years. 650 Katana and Harley Low Rider Sports, Soft Tail Custom and Heritage. My riding days are over now though.

Should have called myself "The Biker"

Can be done if you wish. Unfortunately Fat Boy on the Fat Boy exceeds the character limitations.

Are you aware of "Lincs to the Past"? --
http://www.
lincstothepast.com/home/ -- the website of Lincolnshire Archives.

It is worth a look. There are many original parish records available to view on-line for free. I was pointed to it some while ago by the LFHS (Lincolnshire Family History Society) who found me a burial in Ropsley near Grantham which I had been unable to find.

All the best,
