Same family so I'll keep it all in one place.

This is the great grandson of Thomas Parkinson b. 1813

Frank Parkinson was born 5th June 1891 to parents William and Elizabeth Parkinson nee Mills, he was born at 46, Twiss Street, Toxteth Park, Lancshire.

His father died in 1897, his mother having 6 children to raise put Frank and his brother into a home. Frank left and was apprenticed to the GPO in Victoria St. around 1905.

On 14 Dec 1915 he married Catherine Lee in St Catherine, Edge Hill, Liverpool, he says his father is deceased, his name was William Parkinson, he was a Blacksmith. This is all correct.

1921 census

Frank, 30, 1891, horseman, out of work

After that they disappear.

There appears to be more children born post 1921 (might help find the family in 1939)

John 1925 Liverpool March qtr 8b176
Gerald 1926 Liverpool Dec qtr 8b122

Stanley K 1929 Liverpool June qtr 8b 326

All Parkinson mmn Lee

Well I found Catherine and Ronald and 2 redacted entries living at 121 Grant Road, Liverpool, Liverpool C.B., Lancashire
RG101/4395C/021/41 (there seem to be a lot of people living at that address)

Knowing that Stanley K died the same year he was born has gotten rid of one of the 4 born after Ronald cut's it down a bit. No sign of Frank, maybe he was doing army work.

There are 3 redacted entries - FMP has transcribed Catherine's yob as 1894, but I think it reads 1891 with a mark on the sheet making the 1 look like a 4

John Parkinson b.1834, Wheelwright, married Mary Morris b.1835 in St George's Church, Everton, Lancashire, on 6th September 1857.
They are both of Upper Beau Street, Everton.

John says his father is Thomas Parkinson his occupation is Miller.

I have found a baptism record for a John Parkinson in St. Peters, Liverpool, Lancashire on 8 Aug 1836 for a John Parkinson with parents Thomas and Mary Ann Parkinson, this Thomas is a Miller and they are living at Tenterden Street, Liverpool.

First off, I don't even know if I have the correct parents for John or am just grabbing at straws with finding one that fits.
.
If and it's a big IF he is the correct one I can't seem to find the mother's maiden name. 2 of the children were born in the late 1840's but I can't sort or find them using the GRO.

Any suggestions
I also found the marriage between Thomas Parkinson and Mary Ann Gray on the Lancashire Online Parish Clerks website. It is a free website, so always worth a look.

I've been using that site for some of my research, but not having found anything on the others in the tree it never crossed my mind to look for that particular marriage DOH.

Based on everything you've gathered, it looks very likely that you do have the right John Parkinson and parents. The 1857 marriage record naming Thomas Parkinson, a miller, fits perfectly with the 1851 census and 1836 baptism at St. Peter’s, Liverpool (Thomas = miller, wife Mary Ann, living on Tenterden Street). Distance between addresses checks out too.

To confirm the mother’s maiden name, you’re spot on to use the GRO index—William Parkinson (b. Q1 1857 West Derby) lists mother’s maiden name as Gray. Try that “Parkinson + Gray” search trick for Sarah and Mary’s GRO records if they’re being elusive.

And yes! The 1834 marriage at St. Peter’s—Thomas Parkinson (miller) to Mary Ann Gray—is the key.

Just nail down a couple of those GRO birth records for the younger kids and you’ll have solid, documented proof for the tree.
