Success!! Thanks for your patience Doug. As you say I was trying the hyperlink rather than the two-line site link. My iPad doesn't allow me to simply copy the address as you surmised - a little editing was require, but now I think I've mastered it. Once again many thanks

Oh I can do that, but failed miserably on trying to do the broken link thingy so gave up altogether. Now I understand. Duh. :lightbulb moment:

The design of the site is of a fixed width, which is why links break onto a second line.

Like the one you posted, they all should work like normal links anyway so don't stress if it looks like the site has broken the link. A broken link looks more like this:
